1 What is OpenPrep

OpenPrep is a free, open-source exam preparation platform built by Pakistani university students for students preparing for admission tests at IBA Karachi, MDCAT, ECAT, LUMS, FAST, NUST, NED and other universities. The platform provides practice MCQs, mock tests, and progress tracking at no cost.

2 Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using OpenPrep at openprep.me you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including students, contributors, and visitors.

3 Your account

When you create an account on OpenPrep:

• You must provide accurate information during signup.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.
• You must be a student or someone with a genuine interest in the platform's purpose.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4 Free to use — always

OpenPrep is and will always be free for students. We do not charge for access to any content, mock tests, or features on the platform. Optional financial support towards hosting costs is entirely voluntary and comes with no additional benefits or obligations.

5 Content and contributions

OpenPrep is open source. Contributors may add questions, explanations, code, and other material to the platform. By contributing you agree that:

• Your contributions are your own original work or properly sourced.
• You are not submitting copyrighted material without permission.
• Your contributions may be edited, removed, or improved by other contributors.
• All contributions are made freely under the project's open-source license.

OpenPrep reserves the right to remove any content that is inaccurate, harmful, offensive, or violates these terms.

6 Acceptable use

You agree not to use OpenPrep to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content in bulk without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content.
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users.

7 Accuracy of content

All preparation material on OpenPrep is contributed and reviewed by students. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every question, answer, or explanation is free of errors. OpenPrep is a study aid — always cross-reference with official syllabus material from your target university.

8 Privacy

We collect only your name and email address for login purposes and your quiz results for progress tracking. We do not sell, share, or misuse your personal data. For full details see our Privacy Policy.

9 Limitation of liability

OpenPrep is provided as-is with no warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any exam outcomes, admission decisions, or consequences resulting from use of this platform. We do our best to keep the platform available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

10 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform grows. If we make significant changes we will note the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of OpenPrep after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from use of OpenPrep will be handled under Pakistani jurisdiction.
